24-7Labs Heart Testing

When it comes to your health, you can’t rely entirely on doctors. Lipid Profile

The lipid profile test is used to measure your overall cholesterol levels and more,
including high-density lipoprotein, low-density lipoprotein, very-low-density lipoprotein,
and triglycerides.

Complete Blood Count (CBC)

The CBC test measures your white blood cell, red blood cell, and platelet
concentrations. It is useful in reviewing a person’s overall health as well as diagnosing
several disorders, including anemia, leukemia, and various infections.

Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP)

This routine screening is made up of 14 chemistries and is used in the evaluation of the
function of the liver and kidneys as well as for checking glucose and protein levels in the
blood, and your fluid and electrolyte balance.

High Sensitivity, Cardiac C-Reactive Protein (CRP)

The cardiac c-reactive protein is produced when the body experiences inflammation.
When increased levels of CRP are detected, that means your arteries are likely
inflamed. In other words, there’s an increased risk of heart attack, heart disease, stroke,
and peripheral arterial disease.

Homocysteine

Increased levels of homocysteine – an amino acid – can indicate an increased risk of
stroke, heart attack, and blood clots.

Lipoprotein (a)

This test is used to evaluate your levels of lipoprotein(a), as it is a risk factor for
coronary artery disease (CAS), peripheral vascular disease, and stroke.
