Our Male Wellness Panel is a set of tests that is used to provide a general evaluation and screening of a man’s overall health status, including hormone levels and prostate health.
Includes 8 exams
(CBC) Complete Blood Count:
This is a routine screening test that measures the concentration of white blood cells (leukocytes), red blood cells (erythrocytes), and platelets (thrombocytes). This test is used to evaluate a patient’s overall health and is also useful in diagnosing many disorders, such as anemia, infections, leukemia and bleeding problems.
(CMP) 14 test Chemistry Panel:
This is a routine screening panel composed of 14 tests that measure the levels of electrolytes such as sodium and potassium as well as glucose and protein levels in the blood. This panel also measures the function of the liver and kidneys.
(TSH) Thyroid Stimulating Hormone:
TSH is a hormone secreted by the pituitary gland. TSH levels are used to evaluate thyroid function and to diagnose and monitor thyroid abnormalities and disease.
(UA) Urinalysis:
This is an analysis of the urine that is used in routine medical evaluations look for infection as to screen for kidney disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, muscle breakdown, and liver disease.
Lipid Profile:
This test is used to measure cholesterol and lipids. Elevated cholesterol and lipids levels are strongly associated with increased risk of heart disease and heart attacks as well as strokes and peripheral vascular disease.
(PSA) Prostate Specific Antigen:
PSA is a protein produced by the prostate gland. This test measures levels of PSA in the blood and can be used to detect prostate cancer or other prostate abnormalities.
Testosterone:
This measures the level of the testosterone hormone in the blood. Testosterone plays an important role in bone and muscle mass, energy levels, and sexual functioning.
(DHEA):Dihydroepiandosterone:
This measures the level of the DHEA hormone in the blood. DHEA also plays an important role in bone and muscle mass, energy levels, and sexual functioning.
